Keith Swezey's daughter was killed in 2009 by a drunk driver going the wrong way on Kilpatrick Turnpike. The Swezey family has channeled their grief into working with the legislature, and in 2011 the Erin Swezey Act was passed requiring interlock devices on vehicles of people convicted of DUI.
